Garlic is truly  divine .It is an abundant source of magnesium, calcium, phosphorous, copper, potassium, selenium, iron, iodine, zinc, vitamin B1, B6 and C .
For centuries garlic has been used as a natural medicine  by virtue of its anti bacterial, antifungal, antiparasitic and antiviral properties.
Researches have shown that garlic is useful in killing cancer cells, lowering cholesterol and high blood pressure. 
It is an important immune booster, digestive acid and an effective natural antibiotic.
Garlic combats common cold and cough and has been used for several years for this purpose
So to attain a healthy body free of diseases all you have to do is to eat one to two cloves of  raw garlic in an empty stomach in the morning or you can also have a glass of garlic water on a daily routine. 
For maximum flavor and nutrition garlic should be bought fresh and not in the form of paste, powder or tablets
How to prepare garlic water
  • Crush one or two garlic clove and put it in a glass.
  • Add hot water to it.
  • Cover it and let it rest for five minutes.
  • It is ready to drink. While drinking the water, chew the crushed garlic.

  • Skin irritation and rashes can be treated and cured with garlic.You can make a paste of garlic, mix it with milk or milk cream and apply on the part of the skin where you are having rashes or skin irritation.
  • Garlic has a compound known as allicin. The anti bacterial,anti fungal and antiseptic properties of garlic comes from this compound. The presence of allicin in garlic makes it very powerful herb which kills the "bacteria" responsible for causing pimples. You can use freshly prepared garlic juice directly on the pimples and acne and can get rid of them very soon.
  • The problem of black heads and white heads is common among all boys and girls, here again garlic comes for the rescue. It helps in removing the white and black heads easily. Mix garlic paste to a suitable scrub and massage your face gently. Wash your face with fresh water. Do it once a week. This remedy brings a natural glow to the skin
 Use of garlic as an anti aging agent

  • The most disliked aspect of aging are the wrinkles on which I'm sure every body will agree . But guess what ? Garlic cloves will help you out from this nightmare too. Rich in antioxidants garlic has the power to combat wrinkles and give you younger looking skin.
  • Make a paste of 2-3 garlic cloves add 1tea spoon each of honey and olive oil to it. Let it be cool in a fridge overnight. Next morning apply this face mask on the face and neck . Leave it for 15 mints and then wash it off with fresh water. Repeat it twice or thrice a week.
  • Take one tea spoon of  garlic juice and add two teaspoon of rose water to it mix it well and apply it all over your face and neck let it be for 15-20 mints and then wash it off with fresh water. repeat it regularly.
  • You can also attain a desired result by drinking garlic water


Have healthy hair!
Garlic for grey hair:-
The premature greying of hair has become a common problem among youngsters these days. You can reverse the greying of hair with this magical herb. Mix garlic paste with olive oil and heat it , at low flame till smoke comes out from the cloves, now let the paste be cool and after cooling apply this paste to the hair roots. Leave it overnight and then wash it off with a suitable shampoo . Do it twice a week.The problem of grey hair will end-up soon.

Treats hair fall and baldness effectively:-

Our poor living habits and stress has led us to hair fall and baldness. We need to take care of our eating habits and lifestyle. 
Garlic has high content of allicin which is a sulphur compound and studies have shown that allicin is highly effective on treating hair loss hence it is a boon for people suffering from hair fall and baldness. To get rid of such problem, mix equal amount of fresh garlic juice and water and apply on the scalp and specially in the area of baldness two to three times a day. Repeat this remedy for  three to four months for best results.

Treats dandruff and split ends:-

The problem of  dandruff and split ends in the hair is also huge. In some people the complication of dandruff is so much that the blood comes out while scratching their heads. So it becomes very important to treat such a condition. Garlic's anti fungal property is ideal for eliminating dandruff. 
You can mix pure mustered oil with fresh garlic paste and give a good massage to your scalp and wash your hair the next morning with an appropriate shampoo. 
Massage your scalp with minced garlic and honey. keep for one hour and then wash it off. 
These easy remedies will help you out with the dirty dandruff without spending much and damaging your hair by harsh chemicals.

Precaution :-People with sensitive skin may have some irritation or burn on the skin on using garlic as a home remedy. So it is advisable to first talk to your doctor before using it on your skin or even eating it raw or drinking its water.
